Protest

by Jay Colon   Jun 3, 2020

The Injustice to so many lives
The generational suffering
All because someone is black or brown

the lack of empathy
From bigotry cops

To serve and protect
Humans who use their career as power
As if they’re re above the law
Hiding behind judicatory

No more oppressors
No police brutality
No segregation

Our pain will be poured
Our silence we roar

I can’t breathe
Don’t kill me

Fist raised high
We will stand
We will rise

BLACK LIVES MATTER

No Justice
No peace
No Racist Police
