Daily Grind:

Life is like a cup of coffee
Both can burn you alive,
If you don't have a good handle
For the two are full of surprise.

Either can be hard to swallow
Unless you sweeten up the pot,
For both can leave an aftertaste
That you will enjoy not.

The two of them are gratifying
For they give us peace of mind,
So both of them are beneficial
To help our mornings to unwind.

So consume little bitty sips
Don't ever get in a hurry,
Savor every drop from both
And drown out all your worries.

Cause both have a time limit
And then each will expire,
So enjoy the both of them
Before either lose their fire.
