I've been meaning to speak to y'all
But I have been at rest,
So now that I am energized
Let me get it off my chest.

For seventeen years now
I've been serenaded by your poetry,
So all that flows through my veins
Have inked my notoriety.

My journey has been but paved
From the footprints of your reflections,
All those memories each have left behind
Has only added to my collection.

So I am who I am today
Thanks to all of you great poets,
For each of you have touched my life
And I want you all to know it.

Just below my glossy dermis
My heart pours out to all,
For my soul bleeds for each of you
From all that you have scrawled.

So this time, this time only
I hold no weekly contest,
For I want each and everyone
To know you all are truly blessed.

So long live those long hours
You wrestled with your mind,
Not a single word will go to waste
Cause they're forever etched in time.

Now as my ink well runs dry
But just before I fade,
