Mute Moon

by Gracy Judith   Jun 21, 2020

I want to
cut loose the moon
watch it plunge
into this verse
but there she sits
a luring sphere of gleam
whole and mute
my only companion
suspended
in the wide expanse
of grey

Welcome to P&Q. I've read all three of your poems, and I must say, in particular this piece, have wonderful word choice. Your line endings are beautifully chosen, resulting in a natural flow when reading. Looking forward to reading more from you! :)
