Restraints

A sky full of clouds
imprisoned her soul,
as her cold wings
cocooned her
under colorless petals.

The dirt anchored her
fluttering spirit,
while her heart sought
the horizon.

The anguish within her
dispersed upon fields of
wildflowers;

she waited for
the endosymbiosis of
sun and salvation to
metamorphose her
into a
delicate
being.

Amazing word choice. Flawless scene narration. I found myself in the character too. The poem seemed very natural and the tone touched me!
