Look At Me Now

by Ally   Jul 13, 2004

Look at me now,
As I sit here by the fire.
Rocking back and forth,
With the flames the only color in my face.

Look at me now,
As I stare into the mirror.
All the hatred stirring inside,
And boiling beneath my skin.

Look at me now,
After five years have passed.
I look as if I should die any second,
As if I was never meant to live.

Look at me now,
I am coming back.
I’m stronger than ever,
Because of what I have been through.

Look at me now,
At what I’ve become.
This is all because of you,
And what you have done.

Thanks Chris. If you want to read one of my better ones. read "I'm Worth More" or "Missing You". Thanks a lot for your encouragement. It means a lot to me when I hardly ever get it. ^.^
