Your absence spoke in crowds,
it said you came like a green cloud
to tempt my drought with mirage.

My thirst for dew
fell for your shadow.

But you passed above me
like a hurricane;
plucking my strongest roots
and ending their journey.

I was dry
but obscured.

You,
left me in the bare..
