Brenda this honest heart breaking piece brought tears and memories flooded back of when I held my baby nephew. (he too was in tremendous pain with a terrible start in life but with a twisted bowel, gastric issues and Cystric Fibrosis). Life seems so unfair sometimes that such a tiny innocent be beset with pain and such a tough start in life just belies reason. You would willingly take their pain a million timed over than witness this tragic injustice. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family with hopes that medical science can find a cure and soon. Milly x

Oh Brenda. News like this is every parent's and grandparent's worst nightmare and I'm so sorry you're all going through this. I don't doubt that you are and will continue to be strong and fully support your daughter through this and I hope you've got people to lean on too. It's so impossibly hard seeing a baby go through any kind of medical treatments but please know that the love Liam is surrounded by will keep him happy despite what his body is going through.
I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts and wish for the absolute best outcome for Liam. Xx

Walter and Daniel, thank you so much. We all greatly appreciate your thoughts and prayers. I too had never heard of this until now. I'm learning all I can so I can be prepared. He's such a sweet baby, he's starting to laugh now, it is such a beautiful sound.
