I find that there's a reason,
For everything to be,
And though it may not seem so clear,

A date that went awry,
A struggle of immense amount,
One day you will see why,
Myself I've always written,
Of sadness and love lost,
But now I have an 8yr old,
And to get there was the cost,
I'm looking to the future,
As life its beat me down,
Its kicked me while I'm down here,
And dragged me all around,
But last time that this happened,
I got my little boy,
Been 5yrs now of things being worse,
I'm waiting for the joy.
So if you're feeling worthless,
Or like the world "don't care"
Sad and lonely, maybe scared,
Like you shouldn't be there,
Take a second,
Think right through,
To where you are today,
And think of how things could turn out,
Because things are this way,
You can do it,
I know you can,
Because I done it too,
And if you need a hand with it,
I'm always here for you.
