Whiteants

by Aiko (Dreamsurfer)   Jul 6, 2020

They are black and brown on the outside,
But white on the inside.
No racism!
The Lugbara of West Nile call them onya.
They are caught near anthills plus nightlights.
When boiled and mashed up with onions, salt or other ingredients,
They form a tasty bread called ombangulu.
