Kyebando

by Aiko (Dreamsurfer)   Jul 9, 2020

One by one makes a bundle,
Like Kyebando.
It used to be a dumping ground for corpses,
During Idi Amin's regime.
I have seen the Oldest Resident of Kyebando,
He still walked strong,
Though grey-haired.
Slowly by slowly,
The suburb became densely populated,
With five different sections in Kampala City,
Connected by a wonderful ring road.
I call Kisalosalo home.
