There's nothing you can say
You'll only make it worse
This time you're not forgiven
You can't go in reverse

It's easy to pretend
Act like you never knew
Tell me you had no control
But I don't believe you

Nor do your tears work
I won't listen to your lies
You say it didn't mean a thing
Yet you were hypnotized

You must think I am stupid
When you say how you regret
But time will never be a cure
I can't forgive nor can forget

It's funny when you were with him
How this didn't cross your mind
The love you say you have for me
Was somewhere you couldn't find

I thought when we made love
We share so much more than skin
Your values don't seem to be as high
Since when you let him in

You have gone too far
Despite how you try to lurk
But don't ask me for forgiveness
This time sorry...just doesn't work

    A compelling read as usual. Sadly when someone strays it rarely works out the way they imagine. I have seen so many couples split and the wrong doer realise too late they've made a terrible mistake. Inevitably the person left behind goes on to find someone who really does love them and the wrongdoer ends up alone or in a bad relationship. Milly x
