My Socket

by Aiko (Dreamsurfer)   Jul 16, 2020

She's my socket,
The source of my power.
I'm a three-pin plug machine.
She says I will be perfect without her,
But I can only reach 90 percent perfection,
She is the remainder that completes me like electricity.
When she introduces to me her boyfriend,
It's like she kicks my plug out of its power source.
The new man takes away my phone,
Like a bully.
I wanted his girl to love me forever,
Whether am poor or rich.
Now I have to rely on backup,
A Universal Power Supply for my personal computer,
To cushion the loadshedding,
Prevent unexpected shut down and getting hurt inside.
