I searched for God in temples |
Great Poem! I was born Anglican in Uganda, admired the Way Muslims bow down and pray, marvelled at the Colourfulness of Hindu Ceremonies but detested Statues. When I went to a Roman Catholic Christian School, I found myself "genuflecting" or bowing down before Statues of JESUS by force, made me feel I was doing the wrong Thing, going against the 2nd Commandment in the Bible. Religion is a huge Puzzle but GOD is everywhere... |

God is the known and the unknown and to know him one must know the truth first... |
This a great poem,God is so mysterious and he is not confined to religion. We must give up every false idol to realize who God truly is.Only the truth will set us free. Thanks for writing |
