My favourite female name is Brenda.
I do not know why but every female called Brenda tickles my fancy.
It's not even a crush,
I just feel they are special.
From my first city friend's sister,
To a teenage sweetheart's auntie,
A yearmate in a different combination,
The exciting sidekick of my campus girlfriend,
My awesome newsroom workmate,
An albino cleaner,
My cousin's Police wife,
Village cousin's daughter I first saw at her giveaway ceremony,
A tenant's daughter,
My first cousin one removed's baby mama,
To the ones on TV like South African singer Brenda Fassie.
Sounds juicy like a blender.
If GOD gives me a daughter,
Then I might name her Brenda.
