First kiss

Palm to palm we stand
eyes locked on each other
we have more of a special bond
than even sister or brother

i want you and you want me
and my lip begins to quake
for i want my first kiss
that you and i shall make

i place my hand on your shoulder
you place your hand on my hip
you run your fingers through my hair
then one finger on my lip

i kiss it oh so gently
you move your hand away
we both move closer, shut our eyes
with you i want to stay

then our lips touch for the first time
and so we do begin
and as we do my heart explodes
I\'m melting from within

this is how it should have been
my only ever first kiss
this is one of those blissful moments
i didn\'t want to miss

but i did. i missed it all
my first kiss was so bad
it was in a club, dark and sloppy
with some unknown lad

i lost out on this one chance
don't throw your first kiss away
it should be one of the best moments ever
just hold on for that day...
