Foreseen

You fall and embrace me
with shades full of dark.

Like insolent departures,
your arrivals have no spirit.

And I always knew you'd leave
the same ways you come.

Dispirited and in hunger..
you are death.

Eating out my art and soul;
so I never wake up
wearing the same shadow again.

    A particularly dark read, Rania, but me being me, I loved it...

    I like the reflection of the shades at the beginning and the shadows at the end.

    "I never wake up wearing the same shadow again..." To me, this paints the picture that the trauma the speaker has endured created a convoluted mess of dark emotion - they will forever be caught in a different shade of despair.
