The only closed shoes I fancy are gumboots.
Most times,
I step out in flipflops or sandals.
Black shoes were for obeying strict school rules,
Sneakers are for sports and exercise;
Too sweaty with risks of stinky feet,
As well as Athlete's Foot Disease.
However, gardening requires gumboots,
Slashing grass is more cumbersome while rocking gumboots,
Comic book superheroes wear gumboots.
When rain falls, the best footwear are gumboots,
Gumboots everywhere.
