This actually made me think of the show on Netflix, "The Haunting of Hill House", where the siblings still deal with flashbacks as adults and their childhood experiences in the house. I loved your voice in this, how the first half of the poem focused on atmosphere and imagery, and how in the second half, you highlighted your similarities, how you've found the house and though it is ominous, you understand it. You know its loneliness and what it means to exist, to not always have the easy breaths and perfect structure. The last lines held the most sadness to me. Like not being able to confront the darkest parts of our lives, past and present. Passing the sorrow and grief, pretending it didn't exist for now, starting a new chapter. Perhaps not properly accepting death, the way we sometimes have to do.

What stuck out to me most in this poem was your ability to create atmosphere, mood and emotion, and not fall into a set of descriptions that don't convey much. Well done, Gracy. Congrats on the win!
