If it's gotta get worse before it gets better,
well, you know I'm due improvement,
but I just keep on losin',
I don't know what I am doin',
and the forecast calls for sunny weather,
but you know it just keeps rainin',
and I know I'm still complainin',
but this feeling, it's so drainin',

If home is where the heart is,
well me, I feel so heartless,
so regardless I guess I've no place to go,
and if home is where the heart is,
it feels like I'm so heartless,
in the darkness, I'm all alone,
I have no home,

They say it only goes up from the bottom,
but I guess I just keep diggin',
and the ground, it just keeps givin',
I don't think that this is livin',
and I've heard in time all is forgotten,
but I always do remember,
how I felt in that September,
all you left was burning embers,

If home is where the heart is,
well me, I feel so heartless,
so regardless I guess I've no place to go,
and if home is where the heart is,
it feels like I'm so heartless,
in the darkness, I'm all alone,
I have no home,

If home is where the heart is,
well me, I feel so heartless,
so regardless I guess I've no place to go,
and if home is where the heart is,
it feels like I'm so heartless,
in the darkness, I have no home,
I'm all alone...
