While this could perhaps be interpreted as two people sharing their pain, and their desire to be heard and relieved of some of it, I also took it as speaking to and confiding in depression itself. When we cannot simply shake it off, when it constricts us and we have no other option, we fall into it, and sometimes it can mold itself into us where we don't feel separate from the pain or weight of it. |
