A flower I pick belonging for you
It's petals so soft and covered in dew
Looks so beautiful but to you can't compare

A dinner I booked for a romantic night
A table for two and one candle light
Food makes our mouth water and wine a deep red
Both of us listening to every word that we said
Dancing at a concert of our favourite band
Each of us singing while we're holding hands
Never smiling so much while looking at you
As you're stealing the show and a much better view
The walk on the beach just as the sun sets
We're feeling carefree and with no regrets
The sun disappearing and stealing the heat
Though our skin touching does more than compete
I look back with hindsight and now clearly see
If I did all these things then you'll still be with me
Instead of being busy with work an excuse
When love is ignored it's emotional abuse
