    Reading this, I was immediately reminded of the song "All I Ask of You" from The Phantom of the Opera, I even started humming it!

    This was a simple, but endearing and sincere plea, with the repetition of "love me". To love in its most authentic form. To not do it just to do it, but to really mean it. A selfless love.
