Tea and Coffee

by Maple Tree   Nov 11, 2020

I've given up,
twisted tween rock formations
and life.

Skin scrapes mixed
with tears of yesterday
adorn my lacy smile
with a tea cup to my lips.

I despise tea, yet
it becomes me in a
society that never sees one
soul
drowning in coffee
every morning.

Very beautiful. It made me feel forlorn as I read, and I loved the last verse.

It's sad but true. Lots of people don't enjoy tea, but it helps those who need to relax. It's wonderful and i loved reading it.
