The Poem Tree

by Maple Tree   Nov 16, 2020

Underneath a fallen star
dream catcher memories
dangle from every tear drop
that falls from my flower garden
of blooming Irises.

I've always been a twig within
wild Oak trees, but I remain
strong- as breezes pull
me down, rain revives
my will to live.

Seedlings have all been scattered
as I continue to grant oxygen
to those who ignore my nature,
however-
roots are embedded within
words I carve into every soul that
reads me.

True poem of strength and that no matter what life throws at you, you will keep rising and fighting for the ones you love, and for life itself.

I have missed your way with words and how you bring some sort of nature and an emotion into every single piece you write!

You never cease to please<3 I always find myself feeling so close to you through your writing. Sometimes you weave words together in a way that feels as though they were plucked from my lips. I just love it. Great job!
