To her

by John Jack   Nov 17, 2020

I’m kind a loss. The fall betrays me.
My thoughts are faded and obscured.
I came to miserable ending.
There are no chances to be cured.
You turn my penance into loathing
My modest bows became disgrace.
I’m frozen in the silent, mourning
To hear your voice, to see your face.
My every action is invalid.
My words are arrogant for you.
And my wet eyes are whacked and pallid
Hide endless desert that I view.
Can I release this dull exertion?
Can you forgive this foolish thing?
My fairy, lightfull, happy version,
My barely familiar kin.
