Mother Earth

by Sive Klaas   Nov 18, 2020

You're a precious mother to many
You're a living mother to all life
And your bridges and boundaries are plenty
But my journey - is a ceaseless strife.

And all seasons, I scatter seeds
But you, precious mother, so poor and sterile.
What you need to manure a life?
Maybe you're in peril
Maybe you're ageing

And all my days I wonder
If what you offer
I must suffer.

A lovely tribute to mother nature, albeit with a sadness. Without her humanity could not exist
We must protect our environment now, time is running out rapidly.
