I have to say, this is brilliant. The language, the descriptions used and the alliteration throughout paint such a damning picture. Such a relevant piece of poetry, so perfectly and originally executed. Nominated. |

Mr D, - deforestation, forest fires and ice caps melting, so sad what mankind has/is doing to our beautiful world. We don't deserve it, we really don't! |

Hello there Mr, I'm sorry I missed this one.. How I'm not so sure. Firstly, I'd like to congratulate you on your front page :) Secondly, I'd like to say if this wasn't on the front page and I wasn't highly interested in your work and obvs hadn't missed this then I'd have been intrigued by the title of this as it called to me that even in the saddest of times we must pick ourselves up and disy ourselves off because we have people to prove wrong, maybe I'm dead wrong but just my first thought with the title. |

A vivid and powerful write which really hammers home the message that we need to start looking after this planet and that ending is just wonderful. Congratulations on a very well deserved win. |

Wow, what amazing structure this poem has and I live your layout and the way you include things like stuttering the word stutter etc, it made the whole poem very suspenseful as if you were telling us a story and we had to keep reading on to find out more. |

Thanks, Saffie. I wrote this after watching Sir David Attenborough. I just hope we can all change our ways in time for our planet. |
