Tells of the giant hole that was left in my heart,
How life will never be the same without you here
And how each day its tearing me apart.
But today I am going to try and change that
Because you also left us reasons to smile,
I think that the pain sometimes overwhelms us
And we start to forget the good times for awhile.
See me and Jules were actually the lucky ones
As everyday we always got the best of you,
You was always much more then just our grandad
And that fact will remain forever true.
As much as we all wish that you were here today
Even if it was only for a short while,
We can raise a glass and toast to your life
And think about our memories with a smile.
