Life Lesson

by Dark Lord   Dec 21, 2020

Sometimes when life gets you down,
You just need to stop and look around.

Look to your friends, and you will see,
The ones that count, help set you free.

Free from the hurt and the pain,
And that your life is not in vain.

People may be mean, and treat you bad,
They're only goal is to keep you sad.

But remember your loved by many more,
They are the ones, who will open the door.

Letting you open, and see the world,
Letting your life become unfurled.

They are the ones, that keep you sane,
They don't question, or even complain.

So, keep your chin up, and keep a smile,
Life isn't that bad, it is worthwhile.

“They don't question, or even complain.“

^You know, I disagree with this line. Friends do question. Questioning can be good if it is done with the intention of helping out. Sometimes questioning is needed so that we can take the right decisions. Other than that, I like the overall message. “Life isn’t that bad, it is worthwhile.”
