    "Your gloominess passes to me
    like bitter, sinful blades."

These lines gave me shivers, the simile was perfect and original. When I write sometimes I feel like I am struggling to find new words/my words, to say something that has been said 1,000 times before. This simile is exactly that.

Your words are always carefully crafted and take my breath away within metaphors and similes.

I love the double perspective here. The person who often lives in darkness and the person who is hopeful despite being influenced by the darkness.

You often see this person's dark side because that is all you have ever seen in life and over the years this has passed onto you. Your light has dimmed but there is hope in you still, because you always try to see the light in everything.

You wait for this person to change but you have a feeling they never will.

I love the story here and the realization of emotions throughout, i wouldn't change anything
