It's so hard to write a poem that is so short but the whole story is there plus a joke...lol

You and Ben more than anyone else took to my syntuit form. This poem is masterful. The juxtaposition between the first two lines sets up the intuitive "a-ha" (or in this case the "gotcha") nature of the final line. Told like a dad-joke, it fits the form of the syntuit: 5-7-5 syllable structure, minimal explanation and non-rhyming. It differs from the haiku and senryu form in that it addresses a whimsical topic rather than creating a visual effect.

Brilliant, Michael. Your imagination is boundless and often so full of humour. Where, now, for a horse with hay fever?

A lot of my family suffers from hay fever, so I know this scene all too well! Nice poem.
