A missing girl stolen from her home,
lands inside a world of darkness,
which to the world remains unknown.
A puzzle of fear she can't escape from,
lost in the maze of survival,
with only her fragile heart to trust.
A girl in the fire going up in flames,
along with her innocence, trust and hope.
It is like watching an imaginary you
burning before your helpless eyes.
There will be no laughter from her,
no story of survival or defeat.
there will be no reunion for us,
no laughing screams of justice
for this forgotten heart.
We like to believe that every victim can be a survivor,
become a fighter through and through.
The truth is that for some,
their reality is closer to broken than you will ever know.
Sometimes many unfortunate victims
suffer too much inside the darkness inside both worlds,
that neither become an escape;
Going home is no better than staying home.
They become the black beauties in our world,
the tragic roses who never found their colour,
whose voices were never heard,
whose stories were never shared.
You can see them every night inside our sky,
finally twinkling with peace.
