The Lonely Pirates

by Baby Rainbow   Jan 1, 2021

The lonely pirates came crashing through our ship,
laughing at us because they knew there was nothing we could do
to prevent their armed robbery of our bodies.

Our obscure illusion was not believing
that we could be braver than them,
for if you spend time looking through them,
you realise they are cowards much more worthless than us.
They were laughing at us for they thought they had won,
as they strayed into arrogance of thinking
that we could never stop them all.

From one victim to another,
their future fate lies within us,
the only guilty ones are them!

Our protected future starts by laughing back at them,
and all the blinded fool who remain loyal
and sacred to them and their denial!

Let them be lonely pirates together,
just don't let them sink the ship
of these incredible survivors,
who someday will be catching the dream
in life's new shoes.
