Cowardly Disappearance

by Baby Rainbow   Jan 1, 2021

I wonder if you realise just how many people
actually know about you and what you put me through.
Do you realise my silence slipped and I told my truth about you?
How angry does it make you feel to know they all believe me?
To know that nothing you say or do will ever change that.
You cannot ever prove your truth because you cannot prove a lie;
lies will never have evidence.

I can slowly prove my truth,
because truth is real,
and we both know that I hold evidence
that cannot be denied!

I wonder if you realise just how cowardly you looked
when you ran a thousand miles away
instead of denying my accusations.
you just disappeared like a criminal who was almost caught.
You disappeared just as quickly as my fear did of you.

All that lingers is your regret,
because you did not manage to successfully tear me apart.
Even my scars have healed and disappeared,
but I have not...

... I have not!

"You cannot ever prove your truth because you cannot prove a lie" - love this and it's so very true.
