yet you stand by him
time and time again.
Why are you doing this to us,
when you gave him the hand grenade to freedom
that blew us all apart?
Or are you part of his show ?
We could have been friends,
had you not placed all the blame on me for his mistakes.
I was not expecting you to quit on me when I needed you the most,
but now I understand how controlling your need to be needed is.
You are observing changes in our family tree,
whilst you are throwing your break up party
for the nineteenth millionth time.
I guess that must make you mourn for what you could have had,
but you have no chances remaining with us.
We are who we are,
and we are all thriving without you.
We will never be lonely for we will always have each other.
