Forgive me my Lord

Forgive me my Lord I have been lost
Every border and boundary I crossed

Lost in this world gave my heart away
Went after people who led me astray

Fell in love and been wandering here
Now so broken that I want to disappear

But am sure you will pardon and forgive
Nothing I am and nothing I have to give

You gave me all I had and you took it away
Who am I to complain, I have nothing to say

You know how powerless and incapable I feel
Accepting my failures in your court I kneel

Clean my heart from all what doesn't belong
Take away worldly love and make me strong

Unfaithful and treacherous this world is
Not single thing from here I will miss

Purify my heart and soul from this poison
Polish my soul and remove the corrosion

Can't cope with this pain, can't bear it anymore
In you I believe and you won't show me the door

Remove all the stains and enlighten my soul
Oh Lord help me in my strife to reach the goal
