Carat To Karat:

by Scott Cole   Feb 2, 2021

She's my paragon from Heaven
Because she's a cut above,
My Earthly treasure
My symbol of love.

She is but a diamond
Among millions abroad,
Touched by Mother Nature
And blessed by God.

A diamond among gemstones
Doing her own thing,
Living out her Life
But no golden bling.

A lonely little diamond
Who has big plans,
To get married one day
And behold a wedding band.

A special little gem
With a heart of gold,
And when the Lord made her
He broke the mold.

So she waited her due
Was patient and true,
And as the time flew
Her chances grew few.

But then one day I met her
My bride yet to be,
Thee, the others had looked over
Because she was carved for me.

No cubic zirconia
For she's the real deal,
And when I saw her purity
Our vows were sealed.

No carbon copy
She's one of a kind,
A natural beauty
That crystalized over time.

From an uncut diamond
Without her 24 bling,
To chiseled in stone
Atop a solid gold ring.

Yes my diamond is she
My rock my foundation,
My jewel of all others
In every jewerly wearing Nation.
