Fallen Tear

I still trace the steps
To the night when we met
On my heart are your prints
Which now have all set

It never takes long
To again see your face
Every memory I keep
With this path that I trace

Our fingers would touch
Still tingling my spine
And I feel your warmth
As hands intertwine

With the sound of your breath
When I pull you near
And this feels so real
I swear that you're here

So why does my tear
Leave the path that I've traced
And always remind me
We're no longer embraced

When I open my eyes
But you don't appear
As my vision's all blurred
With each fallen tear

    It really is a great feeling of being with someone and loving that someone for a long time..it's sad when he or she has already slipped away after those long companion ships...but anyway, good and nicely done poem...good day! :)
