Here to Stay

Each of us has a flame so bright
And we each have a choice
We can choose to cover-up
Or let out our untamed voice

Some will let their flame go out
Smothered with all their tears
Others will hide it deep inside
Afraid to interfere

But the best will show others their light
Instead of hiding away
The best aren’t afraid to show others
That they’re here to stay
