Song of Winter

Whispering wondrous messages on the wind
You speak through shapes in my hair
Your seasonal language billowing my coat behind me
Retreating and gently caressing my skin
Breezing your thoughts into my ears
Then swirling sleety whirls around my feet
Kissing my hands with exhaling currents
You bring tears to my eyes with your wistful tune
As you sing to me a song of Winter.

    So soothing to read, like inhaling and exhaling with the spirit of the wind. My favorite lines were "You speak through shapes in my hair / Your seasonal language billowing my coat behind me". I wasn't a big fan of the wording of "swirling sleety whirls" though, as it broke the flow a bit for me and read like a tongue twister, but perhaps that's what you were going for with the "s" and "w".

    Nature has such a powerful voice, if only we listen! Great write :)
