Stormy Confessions

by Baby Rainbow   Feb 13, 2021

How dare you deny the conversation
that unwound our intricate secrets,
and shut the door on any consequences
that cannot be patient any more.

Our bond is burning beyond a beauty
that was once my shining armour.

You have this obscure design
of an instant canvas of justice,
without catching a slight glimpse
of the reality you have now spun into an unending web.

You have become so entwined on a single thought,
you cannot hear the storm that is about to swallow you whole.

My hope is rising nevermore,
as I watch your body stagger through the lies,
knowing you have strayed too far
for things between us
to ever be okay again.
