I cannot turn the other cheek
on these tragic matters arising,
because you refuse to take the medicine you need.
I will not walk away from you
because no matter what we go through,
no one else but us
will ever understand what we went through.
Feelings come and go,
and we often get devoured by our own emotions,
but please don't close the doors
whilst your judgement is as clear
as this black cloud we are under.
Who knows what tomorrow brings,
but I guarantee it will lead us closer
to one more day
that we will never be able to replay.
