I read this aloud and I found myself reading it so quietly as to keep a secret, your secret of love.. Again the imagery and the descriptions speak volumes of love, of beauty and are brilliantly penned,

I like the title - usually we sing out loud. We sing to hear ourself and so others may hear, but when our song is so precious that we fear its loss to others, we cannot help but 'whisper-sing'

Just seen this one, Mark. Not sure if it was nominated, but by heavens if it was, I'm really not sure how it escaped notice. It's really quite a beautiful piece of work. In honesty, I stumbled a little with the repetition of 'to' in line two, but alas, I have no suggestions to improve it! Anyway, lovely writing as ever.
