Midnight prayer

Oh God this burden broke my back
I find no other than you to fallback

Am tired of running to survive here
You do hear me as you are very near

My devotion to you I renew again
Thankful I am despite all the pain

Your generosity to me is unimaginable
Otherwise my faith would be unstable

Went through hell and back many times
Drowned in seas of sorrows sometimes

Many storms have tried to root me out
Useless when I had become I was cut out

Since I am not for any use to this world
Open my heart and show me the other world

Cracked it is a bit thanks to those I loved
Especially the one who was my beloved

Oh God in broken hearts your presence
Nullifies everything elses existence

I do believe that one day you will show
Your light and then this dark soul will glow
