Lost in this place

Oh God I am so lost in this place
On this globe spinning in space

What I have seen is enough for me
Free from this cage now I want to be

This statue of bones, muscles and skin
Where my soul has been caged in

Fragile, vulnerable and weak it was built
For it's wrong actions it bears the guilt

It was never created to be eternal
Will dissolve in dust after a funeral

The real spirit inside will be taken back
Far away from here and never come back

The place far away from this universe
As it clearly is mentioned in a verse

To reunite with the real source of life
After years of hard struggle and strife

What we gained here we won't take there
Dust can't go with us so it will stay here

Many examples are in front of our eyes
We can understand by connecting the ties

Where are those gone who ruled here?
If they have, so we all will disappear

Everything they had built came down
So will happen with all we think we own

The only and last task we were given
If we fulfill it our sins will be forgiven

To eliminate our ego and look beyond
Then be carefree and create that bond

To realize where we actually came from
And purify our souls by burning the scum

To long for the One worth to be loved
So that we can be ready to be his beloved

To get ourselves ready to face the Divine
So that we get enlightened by His shine
