Hey Listen

If you see a man
beaten down on the ground by depression itself

think of him as a dark cloud

and if this man approaches you
and suddenly your days become gloomy
and opaque

Still think of him as a dark cloud

But then look over the sky and while you are at it
ponder about the clouds

Imagine what it’ll be like if a dark cloud suddenly spoke to you and told you:

“Hello, down there

I just wanted to let you know
that I’m not a dark cloud
trying to rain my worries on you

neither am I a dark cloud
covering the sun at will
I’m dragged by the winds

This is who I am.”

And as the dark cloud continues to speak to you, keep that man in mind.

“ It is true,
the sun shines behind my back
I’m cold to that fact

but please, do not say
“go away,
come back another day “

I’m not here to ruin your time

Perhaps it was destiny’s winds
that brought me towards you
So that I could once again be
a cloud where sunshine rays
pass through”

And so as the dark cloud finishes talking to you,
continue to keep that man in mind.

Nice to see some sympathy for those 'dark clouds'. Perhaps letting that cloud talk will allow it to relieve some of the rain/pressure that has built up making it altogether more translucent, thus allowing the sun through that much more easily.
    I loved this.
