The Long Poem

The Long Poem

This poem goes on and on,
You will read it all day long.

It is about all kinds of stuff,
But I don't know if it's long enough.

It is better than short it's long,
If you want you can sing it as a song.

When this poem is over you will be sad,
This poem will not make you mad.

You will have to scroll all the way to the bottom,
And the top will be forgotten.

And when we finally get to the end,
The poem will become your best friend.

This poem goes on for a mile,
And it will even make you smile.

Now let's talk about food,
And the past food you've chewed.

I love a nice bagel and a croissant,
Now that's what I really want.

I also like all types of pie,
And there so good they make me want to cry.

I would really go for some cake right now,
Well I would if I was allowed.

But my all time favorite food is steak,
And it's so good it makes me shake.

Now let's talk about some pets,
But let's start off with fish and there nets.

They swim all around there little bowls,
And when we flush them and there souls.

We could talk about dogs,
Or we could talk about frogs.

Now we can talk about cars,
Or we can talk about the stars.

No let's talk about wood,
It does the job good.

We make tables and chairs,
But nobody cares.

We take it for granted all day long,
But we use it because it's very strong.

Now we can talk about something new,
Like sports or types of shoes.

Let's talk about food again,
We can talk about the greatest food to men.

First is definitely chicken pot pie,
And I never and don't lie.

Second is pizza which I think is very good,
And I think everybody also should.

Another great food is candy,
And when you need energy it come in handy.

It looks like we have come to the end,
And I hope your time was well spent.
