Michael, a hard hitting senyru. I feel your pain in each word.

What really stuck with me in this senryu was your choice to say "your pride" and not "my pride". I pictured this person asking for help, in a way they've never been vulnerable before, and you listen and are there for them. But it's not easy to process. So many things in life rarely are. A lot to think about in a few lines.
