Em, this was emotional and truly illustrated how devastating addiction can be. Especially when someone isn't able to see the effects yet, not only on their future, by on the ones closest to them. One can't "hide" their addiction forever, and the harm is there, whether or not it's realized right away or not. I think that can be the hardest thing to admit, when alcohol affects you that way, and makes you into someone you're either not proud of or don't want to become. |

i know so many people that are decent, but alcohol masks their true nature. I feel your pain and know that you would dearly want him to find the strength to shed the shackles that prevent him from being who you need him to be. I hope he realises in time. x |
